"Congratulations on being selected as a SEED ACADEMY student-athlete."
Lil Joshua is one of a few student-athletes to be selected globally to join the SEED ACADEMY GHANA (SAG) program. He is also the youngest student-athlete at 8 years old.
Launched in 2002 in Senegal by the current Basketball Africa League and NBA Africa President Amadou Gallo-Fall, the SEED Academy is the first basketball student-athlete academy in Africa. SEED Academy uses education and basketball to develop the next generation of African leaders, while developing future basketball talents on the field of play.
Take a look at a short video from the first SAG virtual session held on 21 November 2020, when Lil Joshua introduces himself to his fellow student-athletes.

Being part of SEED ACADEMY is the first step in taking the journey to realizing your potential but also to developing your future as an athlete and a leading figure within your community. SEED represents Sports for Education and Economic Development.
We'll let you know how Lil Joshua gets on!
